Day 01 : Arrive Delhi

On arrival at Delhi airport meet our representative and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 02 : Delhi - Haridwar - Rishikesh

After breakfast drive to Rishikesh via Haridwar. Upon arrival at Rishikesh meet our representative and check in to hotel. Evening free to explore the area. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03 : Rishikesh - Uttarkashi (170 kms/ 4-5 hrs)

After breakfast, proceed for Uttarkashi (1150 mts) by road, which takes 7-8 hrs driving time. Upon arrival check in at Hotel. Evening free to explore the surrounding on your own.  Overnight stay at hotel. Amongst many places of interest in Uttarkashi are Vishvanath temple and the legendary trident –mentioned in the “Skand Puran”, the Ekadash Rudra temple, Gyaneshwar temple, Nachiketa Tal (29 kms from Uttarkashi) and the Kuteti Devi temple. A district headquarter, Uttarkashi is the principle town in the region, and is known as the Northern Kashi (centre for learning since ages).India’s foremost mountaineering institute the  Nehru Institute of Mountaineering is also situated here as Uttarkashi is the gateway to many mountaineering and trekking expedition in the Gangotri area.Visit the innumerous Ashrams a, showcase of Hindism in its ancient form! Overnight in hotel.

Day 04 : Uttarkashi - Gangotri (3048 m/ 10,000 ft) Drive (95 kms).

Gangotri Rudragaira Trek

Post breakfast set out for Gangotri via Harsil & Bhairon Ghati. The drive takes 4-5 hrs to reach Gangotri En route visit the picturesque Cider surrounded village of Harsil, and also view a gorge from the steel truss bridge spanning the gaping abyss called the Bhairon Ghati. The view of the Ganga valley from Sukkhi top is astounding, as one gets a bird’s eye view of the wide meandering Ganga river following its course through the thickly wooded valley. Gangotri is the place where the Goddess Ganga descended on Earth from Heaven. There is a Temple of Goddess Ganga where thousands of devotees throng to pay homage to her every year.

Gangotri : The shrine of Gangotri is situated at an elevation of 3200 m surrounded by Cider (Deodar) and Pine (Chir) trees. The original temple was constructed by the feared Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa after his 10 year siege of the Garhwal area. Every year people from all around the world visit this shrine. A number of Ashrams and Dharamshalas are located on the far side of the river. It is believed that Raja Bhagirath used to worship Lord Shiva on a slab of rock (now known as)"Bhagirath Shila" situated near the temple. Submerged in the river is a natural Shivling (Jalmagna Shivlinga),where, according to mythology, Lord Shiva sat when he received the Goddess Ganga in his matted locks. A day’s trek takes one to Gomukh, the source of the mighty Ganges.

Day 05 : Gangotri (Rest day for rest and acclimatization)

After a leisurely breakfast one is free to explore the holy town of Gangotri. A half a day covering 4 kms in all takes one to the Pandava caves, metioned in the famous epic of Mahabharata. In the second half of the day visit the Ashrams showcasing the ancient Hindu ways and traditions, in their original form. The evening can be spent witnessing the famous Aarti devoted to mother Ganges. Overnight and dinner in the hotel.

Day 06 : Gangotri - Nala Camp (8 km Trek 5 - 6hrs trek)Gangotri Rudragaira Trek

Finally it is time to prepare for the commencement of the adventure filled journey! The trail start on the true left of the valley with and ascends continuously till the Nala camp. The trail goes throught he narrow valley through  a forest consisting of pine and birch trees. The end of the days walk, and the arrival of the campsite finally gets transformed into a picturesque bonanza, including stunning views of some of the Himalayan giants such as Jogin mountain and Kedartal range. Set up camp on arrival, by the Rudragaira river. Overnight in  tents.

Day 07 : Nala Camp to Rudra Gaira Base Camp (7 km -5 hrs trek)

The days trek commences with an ascend which takes you to a ridge and continues into a side stream. After the stream it is a steep and continuous ascent to the base camp, The strenuous stretches of hike during the day there are rewarded by captivating views of Rudragaira peak, Jogin peak and Auden Col pass. The piping hot cup of tea is an apt reward upon arrival at the camp. Overnight in the tents.

Day 08 : Rudugaira BC - Rest day and acclimatization

The day is reserved for rest and acclimatization. One can relax in the camp or involve himself/herself in hike round the corner which takes one towards the Rudragaira peak. Explore and enjoy the majestic Himalayan view. Overnight in  tents.

Day 09 : Rudugaira BC - Nala CampGangotri Rudragaira Trek

After breakfast retrace your footsteps down to the Nala Camp. Take the opportunity of the effortless walking and the time saved to take pictures to your heart’s content! Overnight stay in tent.

Day 10 : Nala Camp - Gangotri - Uttarkashi

Post breakfast make a speedy descent down to Gangotri and from there drive to Uttarkashi. On arrival at Uttarkashi check in to hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 11 : Uttarkashi - Haridwar - Delhi

After breakfast, drive to Haridwar via Rishikesh. On arrival at Haridwar transfer to railway station and from there catch the AC train for Delhi at 18:05 hrs. Arrival at Delhi by 22:45 hrs. in Delhi you will be pick up by our executive and transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 12 : Delhi Departure

Transfer to airport according to your flight schedule.
